If an applicant lives outside Belarus, an application should be filed with the respective Belarusian diplomatic mission abroad. The maximum waiting period on applications made in the country is two weeks. For applications made abroad, there are no standard time limits.

Issuance of other certificates
In their activities, diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Belarus also issue other certificates based on applications from interested parties.
Issuance of other certificates is carried out exclusively in the absence of contradictions with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the host state . At the same time, the official of the foreign mission must have the relevant information of the Belarusian competent authority for its subsequent presentation in the certificate issued by the foreign mission.
The text of the issued certificate intended for action outside the Republic of Belarus can be drawn up in Belarusian, Russian, in the language of the host country or in another foreign language, if the official of the foreign establishment speaks such language.
The basis for issuing such a certificate may be information stored in a foreign establishment and (or) obtained (requested) by the foreign establishment independently from the competent authorities of the Republic of Belarus and (or) provided by citizens in the form of relevant official documents (certificates) of the Belarusian competent authorities, as well as norms legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
For the validity and use of the issued certificate on the territory of a foreign state, it is necessary to legalize it in the competent authorities of this state , as well as, if necessary, translate it into the required language in the prescribed manner, unless otherwise specified by international treaties of the Republic of Belarus.
The consular fee for issuing other certificates is 35 euros .
The procedure for paying the consular fee must be specified in the section "Consular Service of the Embassy".
To obtain another certificate in a foreign mission, you must provide the following documents:
a statement drawn up in any form, indicating the type of the requested document;
passport or other identity document;
official documents of the Belarusian competent authorities, which are the basis for issuing a certificate, if any;
a document confirming the payment.
To obtain a certificate of the presence (absence) of information about a criminal record on the territory of the Republic of Belarus (if necessary, additionally about bringing to administrative responsibility), you must personally provide the following documents :
statement ;
passport or other identity document;
a document confirming the payment.
