Police Clearance Certificate
To request a Police Clearance Certificate from the Embassy of Latvia, please submit the following documents:
1. Application Form;
2. the copy a personal identity document (signed and with the written statement: “Kopija pareiza”);
3. Free form application with this text on it "I, (Name, Surname), agree that my data will be used in the process of my criminal records check" with the date and your signature;
4. Payment in the amount of 70 USD in the form of a Money Order payable to the Embassy of Latvia (for a certificate in English) or 60 USD (for a certificate in Latvian). The certificate is issued within 5 working days. If the certificate is issued within 2 working days, the payment is 90 USD (for a certificate in English) or 70 USD (for a certificate in Latvian).
5. Prepaid envelope with your home address for sending back the original documents to your specified address in USA, or a Money Order payable to the Embassy of Latvia in the amount of 30 USD for sending the documents via Federal Express or in the amount of 20 USD for sending the documents by registered mail.
