Obtaining a certificate "on the presence or absence of a criminal record"
Probably every adult citizen of Kazakhstan applied to the Police for a certificate "on the presence or absence of a criminal record". Now you can get it from the comfort of your home:

kazakh service centre（应该是一个中介公司，在加拿大和美国，价格300美元左右，5-7个工作日，下面的话可以做一个预警，不知道真假）指南（极为极为详细）

说：通过使馆申请，申请公函转国内外交部，外交部处理，再不定期转公函到使馆，这样需要耗费4-8个月时间，所以使馆推荐其他途径更快捷办理。联系kazakh service centre可以缩短到10-13个工作日，直接在自己国家的公证处签署委托书即可，护照也要公证。这些材料估计还做要正规的使馆认证。然后把使馆认证后的材料邮寄到境内的律师就可以办理。
该使馆特别提醒，国内有一些米老鼠公司或欺诈个人，只让你提供护照和委托书公证件的扫描件，不要使馆认证的原件，通过行贿政府人员方式也可以获得，但是这是违法的。甚至他们可能对文件进行造假。如果有这样的公司，请提供给我们，我们奖励30美元。
